This event was a wonderful opportunity to share collective experiences with one another as young women entrepreneurs who are also students. There is a lot to juggle and some very unique challenges at the intersection of our age, gender, educational commitment, and business goals. Talking through this served as a way to encourage other student entrepreneurs, but also share some tips on how we have figured out a system that works for us.

StartupLabs is an in-house pre-accelerator program hosted annually by UCLA’s premier entrepreneurship organization, Bruin Entrepreneurs. At Startup Labs, our team selects candidates at any stage based on their ingenuity, intelligence, and willingness to strive for success. Over a twelve-week period, we help our founders grow their startups by providing them with mentorship, virtual working spaces, alumni networks, weekly workshops, fireside chats, VC introductions, funding opportunities, and any other resources they need.
